Inmarsat Fleet F33, F55 & F77 is a maritime communications service that offers global high quality data, voice, and fax at speeds up to 64 kbps. Fleet Mobile ISDN service provides reliable and fast connections, transferring large amounts of data quickly and cost effectively. Mobile Packet Data Service (MPDS) enables users to remain on-line for extended periods of time, while being charged only for the data transmitted and received. Also, the FLEET F33, F55 & F77 antennas are the same size as the SeaTel Coastal C18, C24 & C30, respectively offering the user the aesthetic of a matched dome silhouette. The F33 is suitable for vessels as small as 25 feet and the F55 & F77 are suitable for larger vessels. Each system comes with the antenna, a transceiver and a telephone handset and cradle. The transceiver serves as the hub for all online communication through the ship’s telephone networks and fax machines. If connected to an IP router, these systems can link shipboard computers to on-shore web based systems like email or Internet services. Additionally, F77 completely meets Global Maritime Distress & Safety System (GMDSS) requirements when paired with an Inmarsat C terminal.
