Is there any special Sea Tel equipment needed to view HDTV?

Are there any Installation procedures for the Dual Antenna Arbitrator Assembly?

• Yes, refer to the 124238-2 (2 Coax Switch) or the 124238-4 (4 Coax Switch) Procedures.

What information is needed when trying to isolate a series 04-pedestal failure?

• To make a full evaluation, we need the following information along with a full failure analysis for any xx03/04 Installations:
   

  To help determine Satellite Reference or Gyro Reference mode
   

• Auto Threshold setting
  Calculate the Difference between Peak AGC and Noise Floor AGC. AUTO THRES should be set to 1/3 to ½ of the Difference.
   
• Gyro Type setting
  Determined by Compass type
   
• System Type setting
  Reference section 5 in the DAC2000 manual for setting options
   
• On satellite AGC reading
  Peak on Satellite AGC reading, Tracking on, NID decoded or Video produced on TV
   
• Off satellite AGC reading
  Drive antenna elevation 10 to 15 degrees above targeted position
   
• Remote Monitor response to Remote Command of "S0000" (For xx03 system, use decimal 83 to get "S0000" command)
  Use Comm diagnostics (under tools tab) on DacRemP to get Remote Monitor Response

  Use "?S" command and record response
  Reference Command Codes section on diagnostic information page to decode remote monitor response.

  In some cases, the following may be required:
   
• El Step Size
  Sets Elevation Conscan sensitivity or the Step Track trial movement size. Series 04 factory default for is 0
   
• AZ Step Size
  Sets azimuth Conscan sensitivity or the Step Track trial movement size. Series 04 factory default is 0
   
• Step Integral
  Sets the integration time for Tracking Mode. Series 04 factory default is 0
   
• Search Delay
  Sets the time-out for automatic initiation of a search after the signal level drops below threshold. Units are in seconds. Range is 0-255 seconds. 0000 disables the automatic search feature.
